Afghanistan allrounder Rashid Khan on Friday hilariously emulates Australian cricketer Steve Smith’s famous leave.

During the lockdown period, cricketers are keeping their spirits high by interacting with fans on social media and being more active.

SunRisers Hyderabad shared the video on Twitter and captioned it as, “Who wants to join @rashidkhan_19 for a game of indoor cricket? Imitations only! #OrangeArmy #SRH #StayAtHome #StaySafe.”

The Royals responded to the video, the franchise which Smith leads in the cash-rich Indian Premier League. “So we’re not the only ones missing @stevesmith49?”, the tweet read.

Meanwhile, the IPL, which was supposed to get underway from March 29 has been postponed till April 15 and is highly unlikely to take place under the current scenario where the number of coronavirus positive cases is on the rise.

There have been more than 2,500 positive cases of coronavirus patients in India. There have been more than 70 people who have died due to the disease in the country.

However, the IPL Franchisees are making sure that the fans get something to savour during this time.
