South Africa won their first-ever knock-out match in a World Cup when they thrashed a hapless Sri Lanka by nine wickets, bowling their opposition out for a paltry 133, setting up a battle-of-equals with New Zealand, rode on Martin Guptill’s 163-ball 237 to thrash West Indies by 143 runs.
