New York: Batting great Sachin Tendulkar has insisted that fast paced Twenty20 game is the ' right format' to globalise the game of cricket. "The format is fast, it's gripping, it's got lot of energy and invariably the finishes are real close. Very rarely you get to see a one-sided game, which is what people like to see. Towards the end of most T20 games, every ball matters," Tendulkar was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo. Tendulkar and Shane Warne are set to captain opposing teams in a three-match 'All-Stars' T20 exhibition tour of the United States. Cricket All Stars League 2015: TVS Tyres to be co-sponsors

Tendulkar, the only cricketer to score 100 international centuries in game's history, hoped that the cricketing extravaganza of the retired superstars would inspire the American youngsters to take up the sport. "Somewhere down the line maybe a kid in the US will hold a baseball bat in one hand and cricket bat in another," he added. Sachin Tendulkar: Facing Shane Warne in Cricket All-Stars League 2015 great
