Shikhar Dhawan and Aaron Finch provided Sunrisers Hyderabad a rollicking start against the Delhi Daredevils at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. SRH reached 55 for no loss after six overs, with Dhawan batting on 33 and Finch on 18 not out.
Finch picked up the momentum in the fourth over of the match when he cracked two boundaries off Mohammed Shami. While the first boundary was hit over the mid-off, the second one came in the third man area. In the next over, Shikhar Dhawan continued the assault as he smashed consecutive boundaries off Wayne Parnell. The left-handed batsman got a reprieve when Manoj Tiwary dropped him at point.
Sunrisers Hyderabad started off decently in their Indian Premier League (IPL), 2014 contest. In three overs, Hyderabad are 22 for no loss. Shikhar Dhawan and Aaron Finch started off well and they have gone on decently. They are trying to attack the bowling and get quick runs.
Earlier during the toss, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Shikhar Dhawan won the toss and elected to bat first. For Delhi Daredevils, Kevin Pietersen returned in the playing eleven. Ross Taylor and James Neesham were axed for this match.
