Vinay Kumar dismisses Karun Nair early

Rajasthan Royals lost the early wicket of Karun Nair in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 game against Kolkata Knight Riders. Nair was dismissed when he charged to R Vinay Kumar and was bowled in the third over. Currently, Sanju Samson and Ajinkya Rahane are batting and in three overs, Rajasthan are 15 for one.

 

Vinay Kumar started proceedings for Kolkata and Rahane hit the first ball for a couple of runs. The second ball was flicked through mid-wicket and it went all the way for a four. The first over went for a total of seven runs. Morne Morkel started off from the other end. Nair got off the mark in that over when he pushed one to mid-on.

 

Earlier, Rajasthan won the toss and elected to bat. Rajasthan brought back James Faulkner into the side. Even Iqbal Abdulla came into the team. Plus, Kolkata got back R Vinay Kumar, Shakib Al Hasan, Manvinder Bisla in place of Piyush Chawla, Chris Lynn and Yusuf Pathan.
