Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli on Tuesday took to the social networking website Twitter to heap praise on the latest release of Bollywood actress and his Anushka Sharma, NH10. Kohli said he was ‘proud’ of the performance from Anushka in the movie, which has received mixed reviews from critics and fans. Kohli and Anushka have been together for quite sometime now. The Bollywood actress, whose presence with the Indian cricketer last year in England was criticised heavily. The couple went through troubled times as the media did not spare Kohli as he had a poor run on the tour.
But Kohli announced his relationship with Anushka before heading to an important tout of Australia, which certainly shed a lot of off them. Kohli was back among the run-scorers as he notched up four centuries in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2014-15, and Anushka was seen at the cricket stadiums in Australia cheering. According to PTI, PepsiCo India is set to air a new television commercial featuring Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and Virat Kohli with a special appearance by the star cricketer’s actress girlfriend Anushka Sharma. In a bid to target the Indian youth, Pepsi, which has had a history of roping in Bollywood and cricket stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar, is now banking on the new youth brigade to promote their product.
