As the ninth season of Indian Premier League (IPL) comes to an end with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) as the new champions, runners up Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli showed real sportsmanship to congratulate the winners over Twitter. He also thanked the fans of RCB for their support throughout the journey. SRH were also not far behind to show the sportsmanship they have, wishing the dashing Indian cricketer good time ahead in cricket. Kohli took Twitter to write, “Loved the IPL journey this year. Congratulations @SunRisers. A huge thank you to @RCBTweets members, coaches & the support staff.Thank you to all the fans who have cheered for us & supported us always. I am indebted to your love. Thank You Bengaluru #RCBForever”
SRH were quick to reply with, “@imVkohli superb batting. Now that the @IPL is over, we look forward to seeing you play for India.”
The two captains, David Warner of SRH and Kohli of RCB, were seen sharing good laugh together throughout the season, indicating towards a friendship off the field. The way the two players have praised each other’s game shows the spirit of the game and sets example for many. Earlier, during the final match, Warner was seen lifting up a fallen Chris Gayle. The SRH skipper also tweeted praising Kohli for his brilliant form, while Kohli praised Warner’s leadership qualities. Here are the tweets—

Virat Kohli is currently enjoying a purple patch of his career. The cricketer scored a total of 973 runs in this edition of IPL, highest by any individual in a single season and bagged the orange cap while Warner was not far behind scoring 848 runs and finished at the second position.
