Virat Kohli completed seven years in international cricket today. Many have taken to social media to congratulate him on this feat. Kohli made his debut against Sri Lanka in an One-Day International (ODI) match at Dambulla. he has grown from strength to strength from there and today he is the vice-captain of the ODI team and the skipper of the Test side. He has already scored 33 international tons to his name. He believes that this is just the beginning. Kohli is currently in Sri Lanka, gearing up to face the hosts in the second Test at Colombo. The second Test will be Sri Lanka legend, Kumar Sangakkara’s final match in international cricket. Sangakkara is rated as one of the best batsmen in the world and his loss will be a massive one for Sri Lankan cricket moving ahead. The three-match series is Kohli’s first full series in charge as captain. He is however yet to win a single match in his stint as skipper so far. Virat Kphli had led the Indian Under-19 team to a World Cup triumph in 2007. He also won the World Cup with the senior side in 2011, when India defeated Sri Lanka in the final at Wankhede to become the first team to have won the mega event at home.
