New Zealand opener Martin Guptill fired Worcestershire Rapids to a nine-wicket win over Durham on Sunday during the  2019 Vitality Blast T20, hitting ten sixes in an unbeaten 86 from only 31 deliveries.

One of Guptill’s sixes broke a window on the top floor of the adjoining hotel overlooking the County Ground in Worcester.

Set a target of 182 after Durham hauled themselves to 181/8 despite no batsman managing to get to 50, Worcestershire were hurried to victory in just 12.1 overs. Guptill led the way with his fierce shot-making, getting to his half-century in 18 balls, while his opening partner Riki Wessels was no less aggressive in getting there in 20 balls.
