West Indies

Batting R B 4s 6s SR
Evin Lewislbw b Deepak Chahar 10 11 1 0 90.91
3.1
D Chahar to E Lewis, OUT! Three reds and that is plumb in front! Absolutely no doubt about that. Not sure why Lewis reviewed that, not sure why Hetmyer let him review that. Another low score by Lewis. Chahar gets his second and he is on fire at the moment. West Indies have lost another one and they are in deep trouble. Chahar starts this outside off and this one comes back in late. Lewis walks across and then tries to adjust to the swing as he looks to flick. He misses and gets hit on the pads. An appeal and the finger is lifted. Lewis reviews. Replays roll in and they show that the ball is hitting the middle of middle. Lewis has to walk back and he takes West Indies' only review with him.
Sunil Narinec Navdeep Saini b Deepak Chahar 2 6 0 0 33.33
1.5
D Chahar to S Narine, OUT! In the air... taken! Deepak Chahar makes an impact straightaway! Sunil Narine fails to make an impact once again. The ploy to open with him does not work in both the games. Early strike for India, just the start they would have wanted. This is slightly shorter and around off, Narine looks to drag it over mid on but does not time it. Saini there takes a good low catch diving to his right.
Shimron Hetmyerlbw b Deepak Chahar 1 3 0 0 33.33
3.5
D Chahar to S Hetmyer, OUT! Another one bites the dust! Chahar is running havoc here with his swing. Another inswinging ball does the trick. This starts around off and middle and it shapes back in late. Hetmyer too fails to adjust to the movement as he looks to drive. He ends up playing outside the line. The ball hits the pads. An appeal and the umpire has his finger up. No reviews left so Hetmyer has to walk back. Three down within the Powerplay and not many teams win the game after losing that many wickets in the first 6.
Kieron Pollardb Navdeep Saini 58 45 1 6 128.89
15.4
N Saini to K Pollard, OUT! TIMBER! Excellent, excellent delivery to get the big man. He falls after getting to his fifty. Needed something special to get Pollard and Saini delivers it. He has been bowling really fast till now and now bowls a slower one on middle. Pollard is completely deceived. He ends up playing all around it. Misses and the middle stump is hit. Big wicket this, can easily make a difference of 20 runs to the final total.
Nicholas Pooran (W)c Rishabh Pant b Navdeep Saini 17 23 1 1 73.91
13.1
N Saini to N Pooran, OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! The bowling change works wonders for the visitors. Saini strikes on the first ball of his new spell. The dangerous stand has been cut short. Timely wicket as the two were looking to cut loose. Saini bowls this on a length and around off, it is angled away. Pooran looks to force it on the off side but gets an outside edge. Pant takes it nicely by diving to his left.

Carlos Brathwaite (C)c Washington Sundar b Rahul Chahar 10 7 0 1 142.86
17.2
R Chahar to C Brathwaite, OUT! Brathwaite holes out! Chahar has the last laugh. He bowls this one flatter again but this is slightly fuller around off, it is the leg spinner. Brathwaite looks to drag it over long on but does not get the distance as it is off the toe-end. Sundar at long on takes a simple catch. FIRST T20I WICKET FOR RAHUL CHAHAR. It is of the opposition skipper.

F Allen to KL Rahul,OUT! Stumped! Allen strikes it in his very first over. Allan bowls it slower through the air outside off, Rahul loses his patience and he looks to go aggressive. He comes down the track but gets a feather of an inside edge to the keeper. Pooran takes the catch and in no time whips the bails off quickly. Not a successful comeback into the side for KL Rahul. Well, after being awarded as stump the decision has been changed to caught.
Shikhar Dhawanc Sheldon Cottrell b Oshane Thomas 3 5 0 0 60
1.6
O Thomas to S Dhawan, OUT! Straight to the man! A soft, soft dismissal that. Dhawan must be gutted at the moment. West Indies though will rejoice as they get the start they want. Oshane Thomas draws first blood. He bowls it short and on the body of Dhawan. Dhawan pulls but hits it straight to short fine leg where Cottrell makes no mistake. A little to that fielder's left or right and it would have been a boundary. India need 137 from 108.
Virat Kohli (C)c Evin Lewis b Oshane Thomas 59 45 6 0 131.11
17.3
O Thomas to V Kohli, OUT! Against the run of play, West Indies have a wicket. Kohli won't be there to finish things off. A very full ball outside off, Virat reaches out for it and squeezes it out behind square on the off side. It's aerial and Lewis stretches across to his left to complete the with both hands. No real celebration from anyone, understandably so. 14 needed off 15 balls.
