Avishka Fernandoc Soumya Sarkar b Shafiul Islam 7 13 0 0 53.85
2.5
S Islam to A Fernando, OUT! Caught! Edged and gone! Fernando is a goner. Soft wicket given away by Sri Lanka. This ball was short of a length outside off, Fernando slashes at it but gets just an outside edge at it. The ball flies towards the 1st slip where Soumya Sarkar takes an easy catch. Sri Lanka have lost their 1st wicket.
Dimuth Karunaratne (C)c Mustafizur Rahman b Mehedi Hasan 36 37 4 0 97.3
14.6
M Hasan to D Karunaratne, OUT! Against the run of play, Bangladesh have a breakthrough. The Sri Lankan skipper departs after batting quite well. Floated full ball around off, gripping a bit and then turning away a shade. Karunaratne is down on one knee in an attempt to sweep but it takes the top edge and flies to short fine leg. Mustafizur Rahman settles underneath it and makes no mistake. The dangerous 97-run stand is broken.
Kusal Perera (W)c Mustafizur Rahman b Soumya Sarkar 111 99 17 1 112.12
32.4
S Sarkar to K Perera, OUT! Nelson strikes! End of a brilliant knock by Kusal Perera but he is looking disappointed. We can understand that. With plenty of overs left, he surely would have loved to get a double here. Sarkar continues to be the partnership breaker for Bangladesh. Nothing too great with the delivery. It's full and angling in on middle, Perera tries to swing it over mid-wicket but it takes the inner half of his blade and flies straight into the hands of Mustafizur Rahman at short fine leg. This stand lasted exactly 100 runs. With the centurion gone, Bangladesh would like to pull things back from hereon.
Kusal Mendisc Mushfiqur Rahim b Rubel Hossain 43 49 4 0 87.76
33.6
R Hossain to K Mendis, OUT! Good period of play for Bangladesh. Two set batsmen have been removed from the crease. Back of a length delivery in the channel outside off, Mendis' feet are glued inside the crease as he throws his bat at it. The ball appears to have taken the faintest of edges on its way to the keeper who gathers the ball. No real appeal there as both the keeper and the bowler thought it missed the bat by a whisker. But...but...but... wait a second, Kusal Mendis WALKS! What an honest batsman! The Ultra Edge confirms there was some involvement of bat.
Angelo Mathewsc Sabbir Rahman b Mustafizur Rahman 48 52 3 0 92.31
48.3
M Rahman to A Mathews, OUT! Mathews holes out! No fifty for Mathews and he returns disappointed. Full and on off, once again no pace to work with, Mathews hangs on the back foot and tries to muscle it over long off. But he fails to gather enough power behind his shot and Sabbir Rahman runs forward from the deep to take a fine low catch.
Lahiru Thirimannec Soumya Sarkar b Mustafizur Rahman 25 30 1 0 83.33
44.3
M Rahman to L Thirimanne, OUT! Caught! The foot is fine and Thirimanne has to resume his long walk. A short ball outside off, Lahiru fetches this via a pull and gets it over mid-wicket. He does not have enough strength on it and Soumya Sarkar runs to his left in the deep to complete the formalities. Thirimanne looks at the heavens and walks off but then he is asked to wait as the umpires suspect a possible overstepping. The replays are touch and go but eventually LT has to go. The 60-run stand is broken.
Thisara Pererac Soumya Sarkar b Shafiul Islam 2 3 0 0 66.67
45.2
S Islam to T Perera, OUT! A big breakthrough as Thisara Perera can prove to be really dangerous at this stage of an innings. Shafiul takes the pace off this delivery and bowls it just outside off. Thisara tries to power it over covers but ends up slicing it off the outer half of his blade. It balloons in the air and Soumya Sarkar runs across to his right from sweeper cover to complete the catch. Thisara trudges back.
Dhananjaya de Silvac Sabbir Rahman b Shafiul Islam 18 12 3 0 150
49.2
S Islam to de Silva, OUT! Another catch taken by Sabbir in the deep. Dhananjaya aims to go downtown this time. It's a length ball in the line of the stumps, de Silva gets behind it and launches it over mid on. But there isn't enough distance on this shot. The long on fielder doesn't move an inch. It falls straight down to his throat. Wicket number 8 goes down for Sri Lanka.

L Malinga to T Iqbal, OUT! Malinga has done his magic again. What a ball! Corker of a yorker by Slinga-Malinga! Iqbal has maybe sunk into the occasion. Malinga releases the ball on the leg stump line, it swings in towards the pads of Iqbal, he tries to bring his bat down but the ball has gone through before that. It hits the pads of Tamim and crashes into the stumps as he falls onto the ground. The crowd has gone bonkers! Lasith is determined to make his last ODI truly memorable.
Soumya Sarkarb Lasith Malinga 15 22 1 0 68.18

L Malinga to S Sarkar, OUT! BOWLED! This time the yorker finds its mark and hits the leg stump! Malinga is on fire. Three yorkers in three balls and this time the ball fires past the bat. Soumya tries his best to get his bat down in time but misses. The ball goes under and hits the leg pole. Bangladesh are in a pool of trouble.
Mohammad Mithunlbw b Nuwan Pradeep 10 21 1 0 47.62
7.3
N Pradeep to M Mithun, OUT! LBW! Three reds and Mithun is out of here. The review has been wasted. Pradeep pitches it outside off and shapes back in, it hits the front pad of Mithun on the off pole line. He has shuffled across the stumps and leaves his leg stump exposed. Mithun thought that it was missing leg but the Ball Tracker shows it has dislodged the middle stump. Bangladesh have lost their second wicket and look in deep trouble here.
Mushfiqur Rahim (W)c Kusal Mendis b Nuwan Pradeep 67 86 5 0 77.91
38.1
N Pradeep to M Rahim, OUT! Pradeep strikes straightaway and eliminates Bangladesh's last hope. He delivers a shortish length ball in the line of the stumps, Rahim shuffles across the stumps to paddle it around the corner but fails to get the desired connection. It comes off the bottom edge and settles into the safe gloves of Kusal Mendis. Good fight from Rahim is over, he walks back dejected.
Mahmudullahc sub b Lahiru Kumara 3 10 0 0 30
11.5
L Kumara to Mahmudullah, OUT! CAUGHT! Bad shot selection by Mahmudullah! Kumara bowls a bouncer on the off pole line, Mahmudullah tries the upper cut even though a fielder is placed at deep third man. It is a simple catch as it goes right down the throat of the substitute fielder Wanindu Hasaranga. Bangladesh are 4 down now for just 39 runs.
Sabbir Rahmanc Avishka Fernando b Dhananjaya de Silva 60 56 7 0 107.14
28.2
de Silva to S Rahman, OUT! Caught! For the second time in the game, Nelson has struck. In the first innings, it was Kusal Perera who was dismissed for 111. Here, it is the 111-run stand which has been broken. Tossed up on middle, Sabbir comes down the track and looks to flick it over the leg side. He does not connect it well enough and this ground is not that small either. Simple catch for Lahiru Kumara at deep mid-wicket. Rahman hits himself with his bat as he walks off. Could not quite finish the job. Bangladesh in a spot of bother again. 165 more needed from 130 balls.

de Silva to M Hasan, OUT! Caught behind! Dhananjaya has his second. This match looks to be hurrying to a close now. Landed outside off, Mehedi looks to guide it towards third man but only feathers it into the gloves of Kusal Mendis who collects it and straightaway leaps in celebration. The umpire has his finger raised this time. Useful from DdS - 9-0-46-2.

N Pradeep to S Islam, OUT! Stumps are disturbed, number 9 goes down for Bangladesh. Good length ball on the perfect line for Pradeep, the off pole line. The ball pitches and just slightly nips away from the line of the bat. It goes past the outside edge and clips the top of off stump. The Lankans are on the brink of victory here.

L Malinga to M Rahman, OUT! Caught! Lasith Malinga fittingly takes the final wicket of the match! He stands there with his arms aloft in the air and the Lankan supporters are on their feet, to applaud their favourite son. A length ball outside off, slightly slower, Mustafizur backs away and aims to hit this over mid off. But he only skies it high in the air and it is a pressure catch for Thisara Perera. Yes, pressure catch because it could be the final time he would be involved in helping Mali take a wicket. He runs back from short extra cover, keeps his eyes on the ball and takes it over his head. SRI LANKA WIN BY 91 RUNS!
