A Dananjaya to Mahmudullah, OUT! TIMBER! Akila Dananjaya gets another. That is a lovely delivery. This one spins back in sharply. This is flatter and outside off, it pitches and spins back in. Mahmudullah goes back and looks to hit it through the off side but is done in by the turn. The ball hits the off pole.Bangladesh continue to slip further.

A Dananjaya to S Rahman, OUT! The wild throw and the dive does not save Sabbir there. That is how far out he came running. Just needless for Bangladesh. This is the last thing they would have wanted. N Pradeep to M Hasan, OUT! End of a very good knock from Mehedi! He will miss out on a well deserved fifty here. Pradeep outfoxes Mehedi with a very nicely bowled slower ball. It is around off, Mehedi looks to go over mid off but does not get the desired timing and elevation on it and he ends up hitting it straight to the man at mid off. Skipper, Dimuth Karunaratne there makes no mistake and takes a simple catch. Good knock from the youngster though. His partnership with Mushfiqur has taken his side to a fighting total here.

N Pradeep to T Islam, OUT! Taijul is short of his crease but more importantly for Bangladesh, Mushfiqur is on strike. Short ball outside off, Taijul looks to pull but misses. Perera has a shy at the keeper's end but misses. Taijul is guilty of watching his partner. The ball goes to Pradeep and he scores a hit at the bowler's end.

M Rahman to A Fernando, OUT! Caught! Fernando's fireworks comes to an end! Finally some respite for Mustafizur. He bowls another slower ball but this is on a length. It is around off, Fernando looks to flat bat it over mid off but he ends up slicing it to the right of the man there. Bangladesh skipper, Tamim Iqbal there moves to his right and takes a simple catch. End of a brilliant knock from the young Avishka. He won't get a ton here but he has taken his side very close to victory. 110 needed off 176 balls.

M Hasan to D Karunaratne, OUT! Bowled! Bangladesh have their much-needed breakthrough here. The ploy to replace Mustafizur with Mehedi has worked. Mehedi comes around the wicket and bowls a quicker one on middle and leg, Karunaratne hangs back and looks to play it off the back foot. The ball though skids onto him and deflects off his pads onto the stumps. This might just be the opening Bangladesh wanted. 168 needed in 231 balls now.

M Rahman to K Perera, OUT! Caught! Mustafizur gets his second of the game. Soft dismissal this for Perera. Fuller ball around off, Kusal Perera looks to drive it on the up. He does so but ends up hitting it uppishly and straight to covers. Soumya Sarkar there takes a good catch as the ball was struck with venom there. Sri Lanka need 93 in 152 balls now.
