L Malinga to S Ambris, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Malinga has bounced Ambris out! Early wicket for the Lankans. Dreadful start for the Windies. Lasith bangs it short and around off, Ambris looks to pull but does not get on top of the bounce. It hits the top edge and goes into the gloves of Perera who makes no mistake. L Malinga to S Hope, OUT! Drags it on! Malinga has got Hope. A big wicket as Shai could have been the anchor man in this chase. West Indies are in big trouble here. Another slower one by Malinga. K Rajitha to S Hetmyer, OUT! Run Out! This is disastrous. Back of a length ball on off, Hetmyer runs it down to the right of backward point. Shimron strokes it there and casually goes for the run. Pooran though looks that Dhananjaya has got to the ball quickly so he sends him back. But he is too late as Hetmyer is halfway down. De Silva takes his time, aims and hits the stumps. Hetmyer is nowhere in the frame and has to walk back dejected. Hetmyer's second run out in this tournament. He suffered the same fate against Australia and that time his partner was Shai Hope. West Indies slip further.

A Mathews to N Pooran, OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! What a masterstroke this is! Angelo Mathews who is bowling his first ball of this World Cup, forget the World Cup, his first ball after eternity, gets the batsman who had all the West Indies' hopes pinned on him. Mathews bowls it wide outside off, Pooran goes after it but the ball takes the outside edge and carries to Kusal Perera who makes no mistake. Mathews is pumped up and why not? He has probably won Sri Lanka the game. Pooran walks back dejected. What an innings from him but it would have been even more special had he taken his team over the line! West Indies need a miracle from here on.

J Vandersay to J Holder, OUT! Straight to the man! The partnership which started to flourish has been cut short. Half the side back in the hut. Vandersay gets his first.
