Andrew Strauss backs Alastair Cook as England’s Test captain

England’s Director of Cricket Andrew Strauss has stressed on the fact that Alastair Cook will remain the captain of the England Test team. He said that it was a tough decision to let go of peter Moores as the coach of the England team but it is something that had to be done. England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) chairman Tom Harrison believes that Moores has done an excellent job for England in his two spells as coach and he needed to be treated with respect as soon as the news of his sacking became public.
