There’s something about Virender Sehwag. When he played the game, he would reach to the milestones singing and whistling with sheer nonchalance and entertaining his scores of fans in the process. Now, after retirement, ‘Viru’ continues to do the same with his off the field acts. The swashbuckling opener has been a huge hit with his witty tweets, especially his birthday wishes to fellow cricketers. Also Read: When Virender Sehwag compared Sourav Ganguly to Salman Khan

On Monday, he continued with his tradition of wishing the cricketers in a funny manner and leaving his followers in splits. The recipients of his wishes this time were former Australian cricketer and a living legend Dennis Lillee and budding Punjab cricketer Manan Vohra. He first wished Vohra, who turned 23 on Monday, with his tweet which read:

Sehwag, who has been a team-mate of Vohra during his time at Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), described him as a talented, hardworking, handsome and gentle in a rhyming manner. He did not stop here, and went on to wish the Australian legend in the similar manner:

He likened Lillee to a character from Bollywood movie ‘Gunda’ (Goon) and used his last name to reprise a famous dialogue from the movie, “Naam hai mera Lillee, kar deta hoon batsman ki pant Gilee’, literally translating to ‘My name is Lillee, I make people pee in their pants’, to suggest how the legend terrorised the batsmen of his age.
