भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व कप्तान सुनील गावस्कर आज यानी 10 जुलाई को अपना 71वां जन्मदिन मना रहे हैं. वर्ल्ड क्रिकेट में ‘लिटिल मास्टर’ के नाम से मशहूर गावस्कर वर्ल्ड के सर्वकालिक महान सलामी बल्लेबाजों में शुमार हैं. गावस्कर का जन्म 1949 में बॉम्बे यानी मुंबई में हुआ था. अपने जमाने में गावस्कर ने मजबूत तकनीक के दम पर बेखौफ होकर दुनिया के बेहतरीन गेंदबाजों का सामना किया.
टेस्ट क्रिकेट में पहले 10 हजारी बने गावस्कर को सोशल मीडिया पर जमकर बधाई मिल रही है. इनमें आईसीसी से लेकर बीसीसीआई के अलावा फैंस भी शामिल हैं जो उनके जन्मदिन पर उनकी उपलब्धियों का बखान कर रहे हैं.
