पूर्व भारतीय दिग्गज महेंद्र सिंह धोनी की कप्तानी में अपने करियर के शीर्ष पर पहुंचे रोहित शर्मा ने शनिवार को संन्यास ले चुके अपने सीनियर खिलाड़ी को शुभकामनाएं दी। भारतीय ऑलराउंडर सुरेश रैना ने भी धोनी के साथ संन्यास का ऐलान किया।
रविवार सुबह की अपनी इंस्टाग्राम पोस्ट में रोहित ने कहा, “भारतीय क्रिकेट इतिहास के सबसे प्रभावशाली शख्स, क्रिकेट में उनका प्रभाव बेहद विशाल है। वो दूरदर्शिता वाले इंसान और टीम बनाने में माहिर थे। हम उनसे नीली जर्सी में देखना याद करेंगे लेकिन वो पीली जर्सी में हमारे साथ हैं।”

इंडियन प्रीमियर की टीम मुंबई इंडियंस टीम के कप्तान रोहित ने कहा, “आपसे 19 को टॉस पर मुलाकात होगी।” दरअसल 19 सितंबर को यूएई में आईपीएल के 13वें सीजन की शुरुआथ होनी है। हालांकि अभी शेड्यूल का ऐलान नहीं हुआ है लेकिन पहला मैच रोहित की मुंबई और धोनी की चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स के बीच होने की उम्मीद है।

अपने साथी खिलाड़ी रहे रैना के लिए रोहित ने लिखा, “जो आपको पता है, वो आपको पता। भविष्य के लिए ढेर सारी शुभकामनाएं।”
