Chamika Karunaratne replaced injured Lahiru Kumara and will join the Sri Lanka in Australia ahead of the second Test in Canberra. @Twitter

1-0 down in the two-match Test series against Australia, Sri Lanka on Monday picked Chamika Karunaratne to replace the injured pacer Lahiru Kumara. He will join the team ahead of the Canberra Test against Tim Paine-led side. (ALSO READ: Intentions could have been better from Sri Lanka: Marvan Atapattu)

Dushmantha Chameera too will miss out playing the second Test after suffering an injury during Sri Lanka s innings and 40-run defeat at the Gabba last week. (ALSO READ: Pat Cummins is Australia s highest-ranked bowler in five years)

The National selectors have picked Right Arm Fast Bowler Chamika Karunaratne in place of injured Lahiru Kumara to join the team in Australia. (ALSO READ: Langer throws his weight behind struggling Starc, Khawaja)

The bowler will join the team in due course.
