The IPL 2019 Eliminator is a knockout match between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
Delhi Capitals, led by Shreyas Iyer, at one stage did not look like playing this match after they topped the IPL 2019 points table and then dropped to second place, but Mumbai Indians’ late resurgence has resulted in the franchise being in the Eliminator despite having 18 points.
Sunrisers, meanwhile, are fortunate to be in the playoffs after losing four of their last five matches. Kane Williamson’s team only reached the final four after MI beat Kolkata Knight Riders, thus becoming the first team to qualify for the playoffs with only 12 points.
The winner of this match will play Chennai Super Kings in Qualifier 2 on Friday.

DC vs SRH PREDICTION
On a track expected to aid pace and also where the ball will come onto the bat nicely, Delhi’s top order of Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer could make the difference. Shaw is a stroke-maker and likes pace on the ball which assists his natural ways, and the Vizag surface could be the one he has waited for all season.
Add in the threat of Trent Boult on a lively track, and his left-arm pace may prove decisive against the likes of Wriddhiman Saha and Martin Guptill.
Delhi Capitals have surprised in IPL 2019 and this looks like being their day.
