Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell is reportedly enjoying his life off-field during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) with ‘glamorous treatment’ following his taking the tournament by storm in unprecedented fashion.
The seventh edition of the IPL, going on in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), runs for less than seven weeks and Maxwell’s team, the Kings XI Punjab, is paying him 1.06 million dollars.
According to News.com.au, Maxwell’s 115,000 followers on Twitter have been seeing the right-handed batsman in photos of him at a luxurious golf course, having a selection of ‘absolutely incredible’ food to which he had just been treated and with Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, who is the co-owner of his IPL team.
The report mentioned that in his first three matches, Maxwell has smashed 95 off 43 balls against Chennai Super Kings, 89 off 45 against Rajasthan Royals and 95 off 43 against Sunrisers Hyderabad with a spectacular mixture of switch-hitting, reverse sweeps and orthodox cricket shots.
