Ajinkya Rahane has scored his fifty in the sixth One-Day International (ODI) between England and India at Perth. On a tough surface, Rahane has batted well and moved to his fifty off 71 balls. India were given a good start with Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan putting up 83 inside the first 20 overs. Dhawan was then dismissed for 38.

Rahane has played some delightful shots and has been playing very well. He has driven and cut well. More importantly, he has kept working the strike around and ensured that India have the solidity at the top. India need to win this game to qualify for the final of the tri-series and play Australia on Sunday.

Earlier, Eoin Morgan won the toss and chose to bowl first. England made no changes to their side and have persisted with the same team that last played Australia on Friday last week. India had to make one change as Mohit Sharma replaced an injured Ishant Sharma. India have gone in with Stuart Binny, Ravindra Jadeja and Akshar Patel, the three all-rounders.
