LIVE CRICKET SCORE: AFG 30/0 in 5 Overs; BATTING: Mohammad Shahzad 16 (13), Noor Ali Zadran 11 (17)Good start by the Afghan openers as of now as they have not lost any wicket and make sure that they get off to a solid opening start with a healthy partnership to chas edown the challenging total set by the Zimbabweans.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE: ZIM 248 in 49.5 Overs. BATTING: Tendai Chisoro 1 (1): BOWLED OUT!!!! That’s it, Zimbabwe have been shot out for 248 in 49.5 overs, as Masakadza’s 110 off 11 deliveries takes them to a challenging total, while Amir Hamza claims three for 43, and would be a challenge for the Afghans with the bat to perform and chase the total down under lights.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE: ZIM 221/5 in 46 Overs. BATTING: Hamilton Masakadza 102 (106), Malcolm Waller 0 (1): GONE!!!! Sikandar Raza goes for 29 as he is dismissed by Rashid Khan, while the rest of the batsmen make sure that they bat out the remaining four overs, while they bring up the 200 for Zimbabwe, as Malcolm Waller makes his way in. LIVE CRICKET SCORE: ZIM 167/3 in 36 Overs. BATTING: Hamilton Masakadza 82 (84), Elton Chigumbura 0 (5): GONE!!!! Richmond Mutumbani is the man who falls for a healthy 40 to Mohammad Nabi after being caught by Noor Ali Zadran. Seemed to be going good, but just couldn’t hold on, as the skipper Elton Chigumbura makes his way in.

OUT! Richmond Mutumbami c Noor Ali Zadran b Mohammad Nabi 40 (47)

LIVE CRICKET SCORE: ZIM 153/2 in 30 Overs. BATTING: Richmond Mutumbami 34(29), Hamilton Masakadza 74(71): And it’s raining boundaries here at Sharjah. Huge sixers coming from Masakadza and boundaries in every over. 150 comes up for Zimbabwe as well as 50 partnership between Masakadza and Mutumbami. Masakadza looks very confident and his side is fully dominating the hosts. Afghanistan bowling looks pale today as they are being hammered badly. Stanikzai needs to rotate his bowlers wisely. Singles are needed to be stopped and they will have to make every chance count.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE: ZIM 112/2 in 25 Overs. BATTING: Richmond Mutumbami 3(7), Hamilton Masakadza 65(63): And a chance once again dropped by Afghan wicketkeeper Mohammad Shahzad. Mirwais Ashraf gives his team the much-needed breakthrough as he breaks the partnership between Masakadza and Moor. Moor contributed an important 42 and provided his team a strong start. He has been a part of the second 100-run stand of the series with Masakadza who was involved in both the partnerships.

OUT! Peter Moor c Noor Ali Zadran b Mirwais Ashraf 42(76)

LIVE CRICKET SCORE: ZIM 95/1 in 20 Overs. BATTING: Peter Moor 40(67), Hamilton Masakadza 54(49): Amir Hamza drops Hamilton Masakadza once again. This one dropped catch can cost them the match. He has been dropped before in the innings. An animated Mohammad Nabi looked frustrated as the chance produced by him is wasted. Zimbabwe look in very good position currently and Afghanistan urgently need wickets here. The partnership between Moor and Masakadza can prove to be lethal. Meanwhile Masakadza made his 31st ODI 5o and it came off 43 balls.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE: ZIM 71/1 in 15 Overs. BATTING: Peter Moor 32(49), Hamilton Masakadza 38(37): Stanikzai brings in Rashid Khan for a changeover in the bowling but that doesn’t change the scenario. Both the batsmen look confident. They are taking quick singles and has kept the scoreboard moving. It’s not a good news for Afghanistan. With the current run rate, they can easily build up a good total of 230 plus, which will not be easy to chase looking at Zimbabwe’s good bowling line up. Fours and sixes are coming in every over.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE: ZIM 42/1 in 10 Overs. BATTING: Peter Moor 27(25), Hamilton Masakadza 14(31): Dawlat Zadran has been expensive but produced chances as his delivery to danger-man Masakadza misses the off-stump narrowly. Masakadza looks confident. This will be Zimbabwe’s first win in a bilateral series decider since 2001 if he manages to guide his team to the much-wanted victory. A few beautiful strokes from both the batsmen sent to boundary come as positives for their team. Good thing that they are taking their time while hitting the right balls. A sixer from Masakadza over mid off to end the power-play.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE: ZIM 10/1 in 5 Overs. BATTING: Peter Moor 2(17), Hamilton Masakadza 7(9): The series decider starts off with a early success for Afghanistan as they have bagged a wicket in the second wicket. Zimbabwe opener Chamu Chibhabha’s poor form continues as he departs for a solitary run. The Amir Hamza delivery hit him on the pad and he is sent off. But there’s no good news for Afghanistan yet as Zimababwe’s hero Hamilton Masakadza has walked in to bat. Afghanistan would like to pick up his wicket to assure their victory.

OUT! Chamu Chibhabha lbw b Amir Hamza 1 (4)

Afghanistan: Noor Ali Zadran, Mohammad Shahzad (wk), Mohammad Nabi, Hashmatullah Shahidi, Nawroz Mangal, Asghar Stanikzai (c), Gulbadin Naib, Mirwais Ashraf, Dawlat Zadran, Amir Hamza, Rashid Khan.

Zimbabwe: Peter Moor, Chamu Chibhabha, Hamilton Masakadza, Richmond Mutumbami (wk), Sikandar Raza, Malcolm Waller, Elton Chigumbura (c), Luke Jongwe, Graeme Cremer, Tendai Chisoro, Neville Madziva.

TOSS: Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat

Afghanistan will be hoping to replicate their performance from the first two games of the series, whereas Zimbabwe need to stick to the basics and do what they’ve been doing over the past two matches. Afghanistan may make couple of changes to the playing XI. Zimbabwean players have peaked at the right time and will look forward to continue with the flow. It’s unlikely that they will disturb the winning combination and one can expect the same playing XI to put in the hard yards. Both teams will give their best shot in the decider, and a cliffhanger is on the cards when they fight for the series at Sharjah. Afghanistan vs Zimbabwe 2015-16, 5th ODI at Sharjah, Preview
