Mumbai Indians (MI) take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in match 27 of the Indian Premier League (RCB) on Tuesday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. While Mumbai haven’t had the best of seasons so far, Bangalore has been far too inconsistent for its own liking. Catch Live Updates of the Mumbai Indians (MI) vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) match here.
Playing at home seems to have rejuvenated Mumbai, who won their last match against then-table toppers Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in front of their home supporters. After having a tremendous season in 2013, MI had been woefully out of form in IPL 7 till that match. They will look to continue winning from here. For Bangalore, an inspiring AB de Villiers helped pull off a wondrous chase against the Sunrisers Hyderabad to get their stuttering campaign back on track.
The Mumbai batting revolves around the likes of Rohit Sharma and Corey Anderson, both of whom have started showing signs of form. Kieron Pollard, who looked completely out of sorts at the beginning of the season, has looked unstoppable in the last two games. For Bangalore, the form of their key batsmen like Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh remains a cause of concern, but Chris Gayle has been threatening to unleash the “Gayle-storm” at any moment. AB de Villiers struck golden form in the last game, and that will be a worrying factor for Mumbai. Catch live scores and ball-by-ball commentary of the MI vs RCB match here.
