Mumbai Indians (MI) are at 47 for two after nine overs against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014. Corey Anderson is batting on 13 and Rohit Sharma is on 10. Mumbai had won the toss and elected to bat in Match 13 of IPL 7. Openers Michael Hussey and Aditya Tare are the two batsmen to have been dismissed. It has been a difficult period for Mumbai.

Tare looked in great form as he struck two fours through covers off Pandey. Mohit Sharma was brought into the attack in the fifth over and he struck straight away. Dhoni had kept the mid-on inside the circle. Mohit’s length delivery was pulled by Tare, but he did not get any distance. Suresh Raina took the catch at mid-on. Rohit Sharma was the next batsman in. Anderson guided a leg side delivery from Ravichandran Ashwin past short fine-leg for a four.

The seventh over was a tight one from Mohit, but Rohit innovated and scooped a full delivery behind short fine-leg for a four. Raina was brought into the attack in the eighth over as Dhoni wanted to use all his bowlers and keep things fresh. Raina dragged one slightly short and Anderson pulled it a little unconvincingly over wide mid-on for a four.
