Sourav Ganguly replaces Anil Kumble as BCCI Technical committee Chairman

Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly on Monday replaced fellow former Indian skipper Anil Kumble as the chairman of the BCCI Technical committee during the BCCI Annaul General Meeting (AGM) in Mumbai on Monday.

Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly on Monday replaced fellow former Indian skipper Anil Kumble as the chairman of the BCCI Technical committee during the BCCI Annaul General Meeting (AGM) in Mumbai on Monday. Ganguly is also the president of the Cricket Assocoation of Bengal (CAB) following the unfortunate demise of former BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya. Kumble, who headed the post for almost an year was on Monday removed from the post, following the series loss to South Africa by India in both T20Is and ODIs. The AGM also come up with other quite a number of surprises as selector Roger Binny was acked as well, along with Ravi Shastri, who was removed from the IPL Governing Council. Rajeev Shukla retained as IPL chairman following BCCI AGM

Rajeev Shukla was retained as the Indian Premier League (IPL) Chairman according to the latest reports coming in after the conclusion of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Annual General Meeting (AGM). Shukla, who had served as the chairman of the lucrative cash-rich league between 2008 and 2013, before returning to the post in April 2015. Among the other developments following the conclusion of the AGM, Roger Binny was removed as the national selectos and Ravi Shastri was removed from the IPL governing council in the board’s effort to battle conflict of interest among the board officials. Also, N Srinivasan was removed as the International Cricket Council (ICC) Chairman, and will replaced by current BCCI President Shashank Manohar.
