भारतीय क्रिकेट के दिग्गज बल्लेबाजों में से एक युवराज सिंह के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट से संन्यास लेने के साथ ही सोशल मीडिया पर भावुक संदेशों और बधाईयों की बाढ़ आ गई। एक तरफ फैंस अपने पसंदीदा खिलाड़ी को 19 साल तक क्रिकेट की सेवा के लिए शुक्रिया कह रहे हैं, तो कई फैंस युवराज को आगे भविष्य में खेलने ना देख पाने की खबर के दुखी हैं।
क्रिकेट जगत के दिग्गजों ने भी स्टार क्रिकेटर यूवी को बधाई और शुभकामनाएं दी। क्रिकेट के भगवान सचिन तेंदुलकर ने युवराज के लिए ट्वीट किया, “तुम्हारा करियर कितना शानदार रहा है यूवी, जब भी टीम को जरूरत पड़ी तुम चैंपियन की तरह सामने आए हो। मैदान के अंदर और बाहर आने वाले उतार चढ़ावों के खिलाफ तुमने जिस तरह की लड़ाई की है वो कमाल है। दूसरी पारी के लिए ढेर सारी शुभकामनाएं और भारतीय क्रिकेट के लिए तुमने जो कुछ भी किया है उसके लिए शुक्रिया।”
