And at the end of Day One of the IPL 2014 Auction, they made some heavy additions to their already star-studded squad in the form of Corey Anderson, Michael Hussey among others. Buying elder Hussey could prove to be the move of the auction, as we know how brilliantly he can pace a T20 innings.
Corey Anderson will only double their batting prowess, which already had enough firepower. But picking Josh Hazlewood seemed a confusing trick, if it is one.
